Why do Pepitas cupcakes taste so good?

Our cupcakes are baked fresh to order, there are no preservatives or additives and our ingredients are top quality - we only use pure Madagascar Vanilla extract (no essences), our chocolate has 70% cocoa solids, our butter is premium unsalted and so on!

How long will my cupcakes stay fresh?

Because we make our sweets from scratch and to order Cupcakes are best eaten the day they are purchased, but will maintain their freshness if placed in an airtight container for 2-3 days, never place them in the refrigerator as it will dry them out. Freezing the day you purchase them is fine, just make sure you take them out 2 hrs before serving.

For people with gluten or nut allergies, can they have Pepitas cupcakes/treats?

We use nuts, peanut butter, dairy products and eggs in our kitchen so people with sensitivities or allergies to any of those products should be careful and use their discretion when ordering cupcakes for events/parties.

We bake a gluten free vanilla cupcake by special order only. Our frostings are made with butter only, no shortening.

How much advance notice do you require for cupcakes?

For custom designed cupcakes we recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks in advance, especially if figure modeling is involved/or if they are to be personalized. For regular decorated cupcakes 72 hrs is fine.

Does Pepitas bake themed cupcakes for any event?

Yes, Pepitas can customize orders, themed cupcakes are a great way to add fun to your special event. Our frostings are available in any colour and we have an array of edible sprinkles, decorations, sugar flowers and glitters.

Does Pepitas deliver?

At this time we can only offer delivery on the weekends within the city of Toronto... For minimum 2 dozen orders for a flat fee of $20.00.

Can I rent Cupcake Towers from Pepitas?

Yes. A refundable deposit of 65.00 is required per cupcake tower at time of pick up or delivery.

Does Pepitas offer custom designed cakes?

Yes. Specialty cakes are priced depending on the number of servings (size),and the difficulty of design. We custom design each cake with individual attention, and as such can only accommodate a certain number of cakes each week, we highly recommend booking your cake 4-6 weeks in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
